You: -A few seconds later I yank open the door, rubbing my eyes- Vega, do you know what time it is?
Stranger: H-help -I manage to say before collapsing in a heap infront of you-
You: Whoa! -I catch you before you hit the ground and hoist you up over my shoulder before closing the door and taking you over to the couch and laying you down-
Stranger: -I keep my side pressed to my side, blood seeping out from behind my hand-

You: -I jump up and go get a rag and some water and an ice pack. When I get back I move your hand to clean the wound and when its clean I press the ice pack against it- what happened, tori?
Stranger: I-I was attacked
You: By who?
Stranger: I-I don't know...it was dark
You: Well... You're here now, and safe. Just keep that ice pack on your head. Are you okay? Do you have any other injuries?
Stranger: -I shake my head-
You: -I sigh softly- Okay. Do you need anything?
Stranger: N-no, m-my side hurts though
You: Here -I prop you up on a pillow and my hands go to the hem of your shirt- May I?
Stranger: -I nod, and move my hand away from the deep stab wound-
You: Oh my God, Tori... I can't fix that. You need to go to the hospital
Stranger: -I nod, and clutch at the pillow, the pain shooting through my body-
You: -I pick you up gently, bridal style, and carry you out to my car, setting you in gently before getting in and peeling out-
Stranger: -I let out a whimper of pain-
You: I'm sorry Tori, I'm doing my best not to hurt you. -I race to the hospital, carrying you inside- Get her to the ER. Now!
Stranger: -I feel the world spin, everything going fuzzy-
You: -I watch as they wheel you away and when you're out of my sight I start pacing in worry-
Stranger: -An hour later a doctor comes out- "Is there a Jade West here?"
You: -I immediately stand up- That's me.
Stranger: -He walks over to you- "We don't usually do this, but seeing as brought her in...we have to tell you whats happening"
You: Please do. Is she going to be okay?
Stranger: -He takes a deep breath- "We can't tell at this point. She lost a lot of blood"
You: Oh my God... Oh my God oh my God oh my God... -I start pacing again-
Stranger: "We've had to put her in an induced coma....it was her only hope of survival"
You: -My eyes snap up to stare at him- How long will it be before she comes out of it?
Stranger: "We don't know. It could be a day, a week, a month...possibly longer"
Stranger: "It's up to her to come out of it"
You: ... Can I see her?
Stranger: -He nods reluctantly-
You: -I follow him to the room you're in and sit by your side-
Stranger: "I'll leave you alone" -He walks out of the room, leaving you alone-
You: -I look you over, tears starting to form in my eyes- Oh Tori... I could have protected you. I could have prevented all of this. If only I'd had the courage to tell you how I felt... -A single tear rolls down my cheek-
Stranger: -I so badly want to comfort you, but my body feels like its been paralysed, I can't move anything, but I can hear you clearly-
You: -I gently take one of your hands in both of my own- Jesus, Vega... You always have been a magnet for trouble. But I guess that's part of your charm. God I... I just love you so much -I bring your hand up shakily and kiss it-
Stranger: -I feel so useless, lying there not being able to respond
You: I... I'm going to go home. Visiting hours are almost over. But first thing tomorrow morning I'll be here, and I'll never leave your side. -I reluctantly stand up and place a soft kiss on your forehead-
Stranger: -I want to tell you to stay, but can't-
Stranger: ((Its so challenging playing in a coma tori! :P Sorry for the horridness of it, it will get better!))
You: I don't... I don't want to go. I think I'll just stay here, and hopefully they won't notice -I sit back down beside you- (I will take your word on it :3 this has been fun so far ^.^)

Stranger: -Even though I can't move anything, or respond to you, I'm glad that you've decided to stay-
You: -I quickly glance around the room before moving you over a little and climbing into the tiny bed beside you, wrapping my arm around you and cradling you to me-
Stranger: -I stay limp in your arms, unable to move a muscle. I so badly want to wrap my arms around you-
You: -As I lay there I start smoothing your hair back out of your face- You're so beautiful, Tori. I don't understand why anyone would ever want to hurt such a delicate, fragile thing

Stranger: -A nurse walks in to check on me and sees you on the bed with me-
You: -I spare a single glance her way then turn my attention back to you, snuggling you against me-
Stranger: "Miss, I'm going to have to ask you to get off the bed. I need to run some tests"
You: I'm not leaving her.
Stranger: "Miss, visiting hours are over" -The nurse looks at her watch- "I'm going to have to ask you to leave now. Miss Vega needs her rest"
Stranger: "Unless you are related or are involved with her, then I'll have to ask you to go"
You: She's doing nothing but rest! I... I'm her girlfriend. I'm not leaving her.
Stranger: -The nurse looks at you, and has an apologetic look on her face-
You: -I sigh softly and lay my head back down on the pillow next to yours-
Stranger: -The nurse looks back at you- "I-I can come back later and run the tests. She doesn't look like she'll be waking for a while. Is there anyone I can call to let them know shes in here?"
You: Uh... Yeah, you can call her parents.
Stranger: -She nods and walks back out of the room-
You: -I let out an exhausted groan-
Stranger: -I can feel your warmth against me, the heat from your body somehow making me feel stronger-
You: Tori... I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can, please wake up soon. I... -I gulp hard- I need you. More than you'll ever know
Stranger: -Your words hit me, and I so badly want to move just a tiny bit, let you know I'll be okay-
You: -I gently rub your arm- I love you, Tori. And when you wake up, that's the first thing I'm going to tell you
Stranger: -I gather all the strength I have, and twitch my finger ever so slightly-
You: -the tiny movement catches my eye and I suck in a breath- You... You moved. You can hear me
Stranger: -I don't respond, feeling completely weak again-
You: T-Tori... -I rub your hand- Your parents are on the way. I've texted everyone and they're coming to see you.
Stranger: -I twitch my finger slightly again, weaker than last time-
You: Don't use all your energy, Vega. You'll need it when you wake up -I kiss the top of your head lightly-
Stranger: -I comply and lie there, feeling exhausted-
You: -After a few minutes your parents burst in-
Stranger: "Tori?!" -My dad turns to you-
You: -I look up at him- They put her in an induced coma. It was her only chance of survival, they said.
Stranger: "How did you find out this information? Its a policy they only reveal it to family members -He turns to me and sits next to my bed-
You: I'm the one who brought her in.
Stranger: -He turns back around to face you- "You were the one who potentially saved Tori? The doctors were saying she wouldnt be alive if it wasn't for the person who brought her in here. They're amazed shes alive at all"
You: -I shrug- I acted like anyone else would have. She just happened to show up at my house.
Stranger: "Jade, if theres anything we can do for you, just name it. We owe you"
You: -I shake my head- Seeing her come out of this okay would be more than enough for me
Stranger: -He nods and faces back to me, unsure of what to say-
You: She's moved, twice. They were small movements, just twitches of the finger, but they were there. She can hear you, if you want to say anything
Stranger: "I don't know what to say. I probably should have some idea of what to say"
You: Well she IS your daughter... I'm assuming you would have SOMETHING to say.
Stranger: -He jumps at your yelling- "Tori, sweetheart". -He smooths the hair back on your forehead- "Please wake up"
You: -I resist the urge to roll my eyes and rub your arm soothingly-
Stranger: ((whose arm are you rubbing?))

You: Sure. -I reluctantly let you go, sliding out of the bed and walking out of the room-
Stranger: -He watches you go and holds my hand- "Tori, I love you. You know that, right? Who would do this to you?"
You: -I sit outside the door, listening-
Stranger: -He doesn't say anymore, and just rests his head on the edge of the mattress, looking at you-

You: -I bury my face in my hands for a few seconds before standing up and walking back in-
Stranger: -He stands up as you walk in- "I'm going to go file a report, try to find who did this"
You: -I give him a nod- She told me that she didn't know who did it, that it was too dark to see

You: I will, sir. -I stare into his eyes-
Stranger: "Jade, you don't need to call me sir"
You: -I nod again and climb back into my spot beside you-
Stranger: -He leaves the room, closing the door behind him-
You: -I sigh softly against your head- I can tell your dad really loves you. He seems devoted.

You: -A small smile graces my features as I watch it- You're doing a great job, Tori. I'm looking forward to seeing you wake up
Stranger: -I feel the strength return little by little, and I twitch my finger again-

You: -I reach over you and press the call button and when everyone comes in I look at them- She's moving. More strongly than before
Stranger: -The nurse comes over to look at the monitors- "They all look the same from when I came in last time"
You: She's been moving! She squeezed my hand, two times. I was just talking to her, reminding her of good times, and she squeezed my hand.
Stranger: "Then keep doing what your doing. She likes a familiar voice, it seems"
You: Do you think she'll come out of it soon?
Stranger: "Possibly. It seems more likely now"
You: -I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding- Good. That is such good news to hear
Stranger: "Just keep on talking to her, about anything" -The nurse leaves the room-
You: Hear that, Vega? They think you're going to wake up. You must be pretty strong
Stranger: -I curl my hand into a weak fist-
You: -I watch your hand as it moves- Robbie and Cat and Andre and Beck will be here soon to see you. They're all hoping for a safe recovery.

Stranger: Calm down -I whisper, my throat completely dry-
Stranger: You can get me a glass of water though -I say, my throat scratchy-
You: Oh Tori! -I quickly run into the built in bathroom and fill up the little plastic cup and bring it out to you- Here.
Stranger: -I take it with shaking hands, and sip at it-
You: -I keep two fingers on the bottom of it, steadying it for you-
Stranger: Thanks -I look at you, and put the cup of water on the table next to me-
You: No problem -I tentatively reach forward and push your hair out of your face-
Stranger: So, I believe you were going to tell me something when I woke up. I don't believe jumping up and down like a kid was it -I smile at you weakly-
You: -My eyes grow wide- You actually did hear me? -I blush and let out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of my neck-
Stranger: I could hear everything everyone said
Me at night: I'm going to try so hard at school from now on. I'll finish my assignments and study every night because it will make exams so much easier. I'll also spend more time with my family and less time on the internet in my room. I'll eat healthier and exercise regularly. I will be a better person, and give more than I take. I will treat every day like it's my last because you only live once. I will live a greater life.
